阿尔杜斯·马努提乌斯

阿尔杜斯·皮乌斯·马努提乌斯（拉丁語：Aldus Pius Manutius，1449年—1515年2月6日）^[1] ，是阿尔多・马努齐奥（義大利語：Aldo Manuzio，[ˈaldo maˈnuttsjo]）的拉丁化名字。生於威尼斯，人文主義学者和印刷商, 在威尼斯创立阿尔丁出版社, 出版希腊文和拉丁文的古典著作。也被稱為称为老阿尔杜斯·马努提乌斯（Aldus Manutius, the Elder），与其孙子小阿爾杜斯·馬努提烏斯（Aldus Manutius, the Younger）作区别。

作为意大利文艺复兴时代的出版和印刷先驱，阿尔杜斯·马努提乌斯确立了书籍装帧的基本步骤，制造了第一款意大利斜体字，创造了经典名著的“袖珍本”书籍 (称为 octavo) 并应用了多项在书籍装帧方面的创新技术和设计。他委托弗兰切斯科・格里福（Francesco Griffo）可出了第一款近日所称的意大利斜体。他与其孙子创建了标准化的标点符号系统。软件公司 Aldus 即以他命名。
