描述
English: View of the façade of the National Library of Spain, in Madrid. On the back, there is the National Archaeological Museum. The image was taken from the Plaza de Colón ("Columbus Square"). The building was projected by architect Francisco Jareño (1818–1892) and built between 1866 and 1892. The column before the building is the monument to Columbus (inaugurated in 1892).
Español: Vista de la fachada de la Biblioteca Nacional de España, en Madrid. En la parte trasera está el Museo Arqueológico Nacional. La imagen está tomada desde la Plaza de Colón. El edificio fue proyectado por el arquitecto Francisco Jareño (1818–1892) y construido entre 1866 y 1892. La columna ante el edificio es el monumento a Colón (inaugurado en 1892).
