乔·T·舒马赫（英語：Joel T. Schumacher，1939年8月29日—2020年6月22日）是美国电影导演，编剧和制片人。

早年生活[编辑]

舒马赫出生在纽约市，是Francis Schumacher和Marian Kantor的儿子。[1]他的母亲是一个瑞典犹太人，他的父亲来自田纳西州的诺克斯维尔，父亲去世时，他只有四岁。[2]舒马赫曾经在帕森設計學院和纽约时装技术学院学习。[3]在时装界工作后，他才意识到自己真正爱的是电影。他搬到了洛杉矶，他开始担任一些电影的服装设计，例如《傻瓜大闹科学城》（Sleeper）。同时在加州大学洛杉矶分校学习电影艺术。他开始为电影写剧本并获得成功。他的导演处女作是1981年由莉莉·汤姆琳主演的The Incredible Shrinking Woman（英语：The Incredible Shrinking Woman）。
