约翰·彼得·弗里茨（德語：Johann Peter Fritz），维也纳最杰出的钢琴制造家之一。[1]

他的钢琴质量好、旋律优美因而受到人们青睐。[2] 众所周知，朱塞佩·威尔第（Giuseppe Verdi）非常喜欢约翰·弗里茨的钢琴，从1851年的《弄臣》（Rigoletto）到1871年的《阿依达》（Aida），他一直使用维也纳式六踏板的弗里茨钢琴。在位于意大利皮亚琴察省的威尔第别墅中，还可以看到这架钢琴的身影。[3]

弗里茨的一些乐器现在在博物馆中展出，如米兰的乐器博物馆（The Museum of Musical Instruments）、波士顿的美术博物馆（The Museum of Fine Arts）、肯特郡坦布里奇韦尔斯的芬奇考克斯音乐教育慈善机构（Finchcocks Charity for Musical Education in Tunbridge Wells, Kent）[4] 以及现藏于德国雷根斯堡大学（University of Regensburg ）由保罗·麦克诺提（Paul McNulty）制造的约翰·弗里茨钢琴现代复制版之一。

约翰·弗里茨于1834年在维也纳去世后，[5]他的儿子约瑟夫（Joseph）继续经营该事业。约19世纪30年代末，也就是1837年后，约瑟夫将他的工场搬到了格拉茨。[5]
