Burning fossil fuels by people adds about 5.5 GtC of carbon per year into the atmosphere. 中文：碳循环图，展示碳蕴藏量及每年碳在大气、水界及陆界之间的流动，以GtC（Gigatons tons Carbon，十亿吨碳）计。化石燃料燃烧每年会为大气层增加大约五十五亿吨碳。
