During my obligatory family visit back to western PA in October 2011 we were looking for things to do on a rainy day. I love museums but my siblings are not really into art. I haven't been to the Carnegie Museum of Art in over 30 years, so I dragged them along, expecting the worst, but they actually enjoyed it. It's really a great museum - lovely collection and exhibitions. The Museum of Natural History is attached so you get two museum for the price of one. I made very meticulous notes of all the shots I took but for the life of me I can't find my notebook. If you happen to know the name of the painting, sculpture, or display and the artist, please let me know - I feel like a bonehead for losing my notes. Don't get old and senile! |
