鲁珀特·格雷夫斯（英语：Rupert Graves，1963年6月30日—）是一位英国电影、电视和舞台男演员。他在其早期的作品中如《看得见风景的房间》和《莫里斯的情人》等成名，近期的作品《神探夏洛克》中扮演的雷斯垂德探长把他的知名度进一步推高。
早年生活[编辑]
格雷夫斯出生于英格兰萨默塞特郡Weston-super-Mare，父亲是音乐老师和音乐家Richard Harding Graves，母亲是旅行社协调员Mary Lousilla Graves（婚前姓Roberts）[1]，还有一个兄弟是货车司机[2]。他的右腿天生有点问题[3]。
格雷夫斯早年的教育并不理想，小学的时候老师在全班面前取笑他的名字[3]，让他非常难堪，长大后他一度想把名字改成Michael[2]。他十五岁就离开学校，十六岁时参加政府的青少年培训计划并成为一个马戏团小丑[4]。
事业[编辑]
格雷夫斯由在家乡参演音乐剧开始他的演员生涯。十八岁时搬到伦敦定居，参演了小众电视剧Return Of The Saint，很快受到赏识并得到改编自五小冒险故事系列中的Five Go Down To The Sea剧集中戏份较重的角色，由此得到不少电视剧及电影的参演机会。年轻的他本来带着很重的西部口音，在刚开始参与看得见风景的房间的时候常常因为口音问题而要重拍[2]。但后来他克服了问题，近年常为BBC的纪录片做旁白工作。
格雷夫斯活跃于舞台剧，电影及电视剧。他拍过不少欧洲古装剧，包括看得见风景的房间，莫里斯的情人，查理二世，疯狂的乔治王等电影及电视剧，所以他的古装扮相非常深入民心。另一方面，他也喜欢尝试不同的角色，例如在电视剧Open Fire中饰演易服癖的反派，电影莫里斯的情人和舞台剧Torch Song Trilogy等作品中饰演同性恋角色，在电视剧Law & Order: UK中饰演精神病人等。由于莫里斯的情人在国际中大受欢迎，有不少为了与众不同的性向而痛苦的同性恋者写信给他，认为这套电影安抚了他们，而其中也有不少日本少女写信告诉他很喜欢这套电影[5]。他在电影及电视剧演出成就非凡，在1996年主演的两套电影－－分别是Intimate Relations及Different for Girls，在同一年的蒙特利尔世界电影节分别得到最佳电影及最佳男演员的殊荣。
他主演过不少在伦敦西区剧院及百老汇剧院上演的舞台剧，其中多部得到评论界的高度赞誉和提名奖项，并广受观众欢迎。单是他作为男主角Dan在百老汇剧院上演的偷心（Closer），一年内上演次数高达172次，他本人得到Outer Critics Circle Award的特别奖，此剧亦获提名Outer Critics Circle Award最佳舞台剧，最佳导演，以及Tony Award for Best Play最佳舞台剧。可惜的是，在最近的访问中，他表示因为家庭因素，最近没有参演舞台剧的打算。

1987年，格雷夫斯在家乡Weston-super-Mare一家咖啡厅邂逅彩绘玻璃艺术家（后来成为园艺家）Yvonne[6]。他们后来在伦敦同居，格雷夫斯跟Yvonne一起抚养Yvonne两名分别十岁和十四岁的女儿，这段关系维持了十三年。
2000年，格雷夫斯在他主演的舞台剧The Caretaker的首演派对上邂逅澳洲出生的制作统筹Suzanne Lewis（昵称Susie）。婚后，他们拥有五个孩子[7]：Joseph, Ella, Noah, Isaac和Zoe。
由于早年在脍灸人口的莫里斯的情人中饰演同性恋的角色，很多人经常询问格雷夫斯的性向。他认为年轻时他的样子漂亮，所以有些比他年长的演员追求他[7]。他年轻时曾尝试过不同性向，也承认有过一段同性关系，但他因此确认自己喜欢的是女性[6]。
格雷夫斯喜欢足球，他习惯每星期跟其他演员，制作人和编剧踢足球[8]，他喜欢阿仙奴球队[9]。
