鹟䴕科^{[注 1]}（学名：Galbulidae，英语：Jacamar）是鸟纲䴕形目下的一个科。现存5属18种，主要分布于拉丁美洲热带地区（新热带界）的森林中。^[2]

语源[编辑]

其英文名称来自于图皮─瓜拉尼语言（英语：Tupi–Guarani languages）的“jacamá-ciri”演变而来，该词可能与瓜拉尼语的jagarra（意为“捕捉”）和siri（意为“螃蟹”，可能指的是节肢动物）有所关联。^[2]

分类学[编辑]

本科与其同个亚目下的喷䴕科物种曾被认为是与佛法僧目关系相近的成员，而非䴕形目成员。^[3]但2003年后的研究发现其实该分类群实质上为䴕亚目之姊妹群。^[4]^[5]以下是根据2017年研究所构成的科下支序图：^[6]

形态特征[编辑]

在外观上，本科物种更像是体型巨大的蜂鸟：鹟䴕通常有著狭长鸟喙，身体多带有金属光泽。^[7]其食物包括蝴蝶和其他会飞的昆虫，多在河岸边的洞穴筑巢。^[7]
