國家野生動物健康中心
國家野生動物健康中心（National Wildlife Health Center, NWHC）是美國地質調查局生物資源處下屬的一個科研機構，成立於1975年[1]。其主要使命是推進野生動物健康，造福動物、人類和環境[2]。
國家野生動物健康中心有獨立或與其他團隊合作調查動植物疾病的能力, 並協調各部門之間的溝通。NWHC建立了野生生物健康信息共享合作夥伴 (WHISPers)事件報告系統與合作夥伴和公眾共享信息。WHISPers是一種網絡工具, 可共享有關野生生物死亡事件的信息。[3]
