西方藍尾翠蜂鳥（中國大陸作西翠蜂鳥，學名：Chlorostilbon melanorhynchus），是雨燕目蜂鳥科的一種鳥類。[3]
西翠蜂鳥體重約2.6克，翼長約45.1毫米，嘴峰長約16毫米，喙寬度約2.1毫米，喙厚度約1.8毫米，跗蹠長約3.9毫米，尾長約27.3毫米。西翠蜂鳥是部分遷徙的鳥類，其棲息在半開放的高大樹木組成的森林中，食性為草食性，主要食物來源是植物的花蜜。[4]
