Zcash

Zcash是一種去中心化、開源的加密互聯網貨幣。與比特幣相比，其更注重於隱私^[1]^[2]，以及對交易透明的可控性^[3]^[4]。具體體現為：公有區塊鏈加密了交易記錄中的發送人、接收人、交易量；用戶可裁量選擇是否向其他人提供查看密鑰，僅擁有此密鑰的人才能看到交易的內容^[5]。

從2014年開始，Zcash協議（即「Zerocash」）在原開發者團隊與約翰·霍普金斯大學、麻省理工學院、以色列理工學院和特拉維夫大學的各個小組的協作下，逐步提高了原協議（即「Zerocoin（英語：Zerocoin）」）的效率和匿名性^[6]。

2016年1月20日，Zcash項目作為Zerocash項目的應用，正式由首席執行官Zooko Wilkox（英語：Zooko Wilcox-O'Hearn）宣布。

Zcash 1.0.0正式版已定於2016年10月28日發布^[7]^[8]，同時也將開放挖礦。
