自2022年2月底俄羅斯全面入侵烏克蘭以來，估計截至2022年3月中旬，已有30萬以上的俄羅斯公民及居民離開俄羅斯，截至2022年8月底，這一數字至少為50萬。並於10月初額外又新增40萬個移民[1]，總計約90萬。這一數字包括經濟移民、良心拒服兵役者、政治難民及因爲其他因素（例如社會混亂或擔心惹上麻煩）而離開俄羅斯國內的公民[2][3][4][5][6]。
