《一生所愛》是一首鋼琴謠曲，靈感來自約翰傳奇的未婚妻克莉絲汀·泰根。[1]兩人在2007年拍攝Stereo的MV時相識，相戀數年後於2013年9月14日結婚。[2]

《一生所愛》拍攝於意大利，導演為納比艾德金，記錄了約翰傳奇與他的未婚妻克莉斯·提姬在結婚前幾天的生活，[14]其中有兩人裸體鏡頭和在浴室及水下做愛的片段，影片最終以兩人在科莫湖的婚禮結尾。[15][16] 2013年9月2日，關於音樂錄像的第一張圖片釋出。[17]2013年10月2日，影片完整版上傳至YouTube。[15][18][19]2013年10月26日，與小提琴家琳賽·斯特林合作的二重奏版的錄影帶上傳至YouTube。[20]
