約翰·彼得·弗里茨（德語：Johann Peter Fritz），維也納最傑出的鋼琴製造家之一。[1]

他的鋼琴質量好、旋律優美因而受到人們青睞。[2] 眾所周知，朱塞佩·威爾第（Giuseppe Verdi）非常喜歡約翰·弗里茨的鋼琴，從1851年的《弄臣》（Rigoletto）到1871年的《阿依達》（Aida），他一直使用維也納式六踏板的弗里茨鋼琴。在位於意大利皮亞琴察省的威爾第別墅中，還可以看到這架鋼琴的身影。[3]

弗里茨的一些樂器現在在博物館中展出，如米蘭的樂器博物館（The Museum of Musical Instruments）、波士頓的美術博物館（The Museum of Fine Arts）、肯特郡坦布里奇韋爾斯的芬奇考克斯音樂教育慈善機構（Finchcocks Charity for Musical Education in Tunbridge Wells, Kent）[4] 以及現藏於德國雷根斯堡大學（University of Regensburg ）由保羅·麥克諾提（Paul McNulty）製造的約翰·弗里茨鋼琴現代複製版之一。

約翰·弗里茨於1834年在維也納去世後，[5]他的兒子約瑟夫（Joseph）繼續經營該事業。約19世紀30年代末，也就是1837年後，約瑟夫將他的工場搬到了格拉茨。[5]
