The Coalition，是微軟旗下一家位於加拿大溫哥華的遊戲開發工作室，前身為Zipline Studios、微軟遊戲工作室溫哥華分部（Microsoft Game Studios Vancouver）和黑圖斯克工作室（Black Tusk Studios）。[2]2012年11月，工作室更名為黑圖斯克工作室（Black Tusk Studios），並主要負責創作《最後一戰》的相關作品。[3]更名前，該工作室為Microsoft Flight和一個Kinect遊戲進行工作。[4]
2014年1月27日，微軟已從Epic Games收購遊戲系列《戰爭機器》的版權，黑圖斯克工作室將繼續開發該系列的遊戲。[5][6] 作為《戰爭機器》收購的一部分，微軟聘請了羅德·弗格森（前三部《戰爭機器》的製作人兼導演）。[7]2015年6月3日，弗格森在Xbox Wire上宣佈將黑圖斯克工作室更名為The Coalition。[8]
