棲熱菌屬（學名：Thermus）為棲熱菌目棲熱菌科的一屬好氧或兼性厭氧發酵型革蘭氏陰性桿菌。直杆。發現於中性到鹼性的溫泉和熱水加熱器中，也發現於鄰近高溫池的天然水中。此屬的模式種為水生棲熱菌(Thermus aquaticus)。
