棘頰雀鯛（學名：Premnas biaculeatus），又叫透紅小丑，是雀鯛科海葵魚亞科棘頰雀鯛屬（Premnas）的唯一一種，分佈於印尼西部到大堡礁的印度-太平洋海域[1]，是一種常見的觀賞魚。棘頰雀鯛僅居住於奶嘴海葵附近[2]，是所有小丑魚中最挑剔的[3]。基因研究顯示，它與海葵雙鋸魚、寬帶雙鋸魚有很近的親緣關係。[4][5]
特徵[編輯]
其兩頰上有棘刺，因此得名。不同地區的棘頰雀鯛身體顏色不同，幼魚和成年雄魚身體一般呈明亮的橘紅色，成年雌性則呈栗色或深褐色。其身體上有三條條紋，顏色可能是白色、綠色或者黃色。雌魚的條紋呈灰色，但受驚後可能會變成白色[2]。達到老年後，雌性個體的條紋甚至可能消失[6]。
棘頰雀鯛存在非常明顯的兩性異形特徵，雌魚總是比雄魚大得多，實際上雌性棘頰雀鯛是體型最大小丑魚之一，長度可達17 cm（6.7英寸），但雄性一般只有6—7 cm（2.4—2.8英寸）長。[2]

飼養[編輯]
棘頰雀鯛已被成功地人工繁殖。但它的攻擊性比別的小丑魚都強，因此飼養時應當特別留意[7]。經過選擇性繁殖，出現了身具閃電形條紋的棘頰雀鯛[8]。但這種特徵在野外是很少見的[9]。
它可與眼斑雙鋸魚雜交[10]，雜交品種和眼斑雙鋸魚很像，但體型更大，顏色更深。[10]
