歷史[編輯]
2022年6月18日加拿大國家籃球聯賽 (NBLC)宣佈，前NBL專員、TBL主席戴夫·麥格利將與現任加拿大國家籃球聯賽專員Audley Stephenson合作，監督兩個聯盟的發展[1]。加拿大國家籃球聯賽宣佈，他們已同意在2021-22賽季與籃球聯盟的幾支球隊進行聯盟間系列賽。兩個聯賽球隊之間的比賽均計入各自聯賽的例行賽積分榜中.[2]。2023年4月11日戴夫·麥格利宣佈組建一個新的職業籃球聯賽，將於2023 年12月26日開始運作。聯賽將由位於加拿大和美國的球隊組成。其目標是效仿歐洲職業足球和籃球聯賽，超級聯賽的球隊也會和TBL球隊進行比賽[3][4]。
