Promethean World，是一家互動教學技術提供商，供應一系列教學展示硬件產品以及互動教學軟件產品。它的總部位於蘇格蘭蘭開夏郡布萊克本和美國亞特蘭大。它曾在倫敦證券交易所上市，並曾是富時小型公司指數成分股，直至2015年9月被網龍網絡收購。
歷史[編輯]
1997年，托尼·肯（Tony Cann）[1][2]在布萊克本創立Promethean，並運用熊貓軟件作為平台（即Activstudio和Activprimary的早期版本），廣泛使用於公司展示與會議。2005年7月，格雷厄姆·豪（Graham Howe）取代托尼·肯擔任主席[3]。2012年9月，詹姆斯·馬歇爾擔任行政總裁[4]。2014年5月，公司董事會再度變革，菲利普·羅利（Philip Rowley）擔任主席[3]。2015年7月，網龍網絡宣佈收購Promethean[5][6]。2016年9月，Promethean從淺藍光學（Light Blue Optics）收購接觸與手勢技術[7]。
辦公與產品[編輯]
Promethean在英國蘭開夏郡布萊克本、美國亞特蘭大、法國巴黎、中國深圳、新加坡和巴林島有辦公室。它的主要生產工廠位於中國深圳，其核心業務包括硬件產品ActivBoards（互動白板）及ActivPanels（互動平板）及軟件產品ClassFlow。其中互動白板為其核心收益來源，佔全球25%市場份額，銷售和市場遍及全球100多個國家，美國及英國是其主要收益來源地。核心目標客戶為K-12（幼兒園至12年級）年齡組的學生及教師。
