盖笠螺属（学名：Cellana）是一个海洋笠螺腹足纲软体动物的属。本属原是原始腹足目笠螺科的成员，今属笠形腹足类莲花青螺总科花笠螺科[1][2][3]。
分布[编辑]
本属物种分布于温带及热带的印度太平洋区的海洋，远至中太平洋的夏威夷及南太平洋的 澳大利亚及新西兰均见本属物种的踪影。在西太平洋到印度洋的海岸，本属物种见于：日本、韩国[4]、台湾[4][5]、红海、毛里求斯、马达加斯加、南非及一些亚南极的群岛。 One species, Cellana radiata, is cosmopolitan[6]
栖息地[编辑]
这些海螺常栖息在潮间带[4][5]岩礁[4]，以岩礁上的大型绿藻为食。有些物种的寿命可长达七年，但一般只有约两三年寿命。繁殖时它们会广泛散播它们大量的卵子，数量从C. flava及C. denticulata的20,000个到C. ornata的230,000个[6]。
