罗德岛设计学院（英语：Rhode Island School of Design，缩写：RISD /ˈrɪzdiː/）是一所位于美国罗德岛州首府普罗维登斯的私立艺术学院。

该学院成立于1877年，位于普罗维登斯学院山（College Hill）山脚，校区与布朗大学相连。两个学校共享师资与社群资源，并提供两边学生都可以参加的课程。RISD博物馆由该校维护。

历史[编辑]

1876年百年博览会上，一个叫做“Centennial Women”的组织募捐了一万美元来组织女性作品展览^[2]^[3]，会后还剩1,675美元^[3]，于是海伦·梅特卡夫（Helen Adelia Rowe Metcalf）提议用这些钱来办一所教育机构。她的意见在1877年1月11日得到大多数人的赞同，于是在同年3月建校^[4]，同年秋在普罗维登斯市中心开张^[5]。梅特卡夫为第一任校长^[6]。
