雅各·路易斯·梅伊（英语：Jacob Louis Mey，1926年10月30日—2023年2月10日）是一位出生于荷兰的丹麦语言学教授，专攻语用学。1996年退休后，他担任南丹麦大学语言与传播学院荣誉教授。[1][2]
生平[编辑]
梅伊于1960年在Louis Hjelmslev的指导下获得哥本哈根大学语言学博士学位。[3]他也曾在奥斯陆大学、德州大学奥斯汀分校、乔治城大学、耶鲁大学、筑波大学、东京国语研究所、西北大学、香港城市大学、法兰克福大学、坎皮纳斯州立大学、海法大学、以色列理工学院、南顿大学和厄勒布鲁大学等机构工作。[2]
直到2010年，他一直担任《语用学杂志》的主编，该杂志是他与哈特穆特·哈伯兰于1977年创办的。[4]他曾任国际语言与传播杂志RASK的主编，[5]以及Pragmatics & Society的编辑之一。[6]
个人生活[编辑]
梅伊与卡里·洛特的第一次婚姻育有一个女儿。1965年，他与Inger Mey结婚；他们有五个孩子。[2]
梅伊于2023年2月10日在德克萨斯州奥斯汀去世，享年96岁。[9]
