凤螺科（学名：Babyloniidae）是一种捕食性海螺的科，在生物分类学被归入腹足纲新腹足目的地位未定群组[2]。
语源[编辑]
凤螺科的学名源于凤螺属；而凤螺属的学名Babylonia又源于巴比伦，因为凤螺属物种的螺层呈阶梯层，有着如巴比伦时代巴别塔的形态[3]:27。
分类[编辑]
凤螺科物种旧属峨螺科[4]，在2005年的《布歇特和洛克罗伊的腹足类分类》被归入新腹足类支序的骨螺总科[5]。但后来有文献认为凤螺科应放在新腹足目之下的地位未定群组[6][2]。这个建议在2017年末发表的《布歇特等人的腹足类分类》得到确认[7]。
