颈动脉体（carotid body）是颈总动脉分支附近的一个化学受器暨支持组织。
颈动脉体能侦测动脉血中的气体分压，主要是血氧及二氧化碳。此外也能感测pH值及温度。
结构[编辑]
颈动脉体含有两种细胞球细胞：第一型球细胞（主细胞）及第二型球细胞（支持细胞）
- 第一型球细胞（主细胞）分化自神经脊[1]。主细胞能分泌各种神经递质，包含乙酰胆碱、ATP，以及多巴胺等，能诱发兴奋性动作电位，并调控呼吸系统。
- 第二型球细胞（支持细胞）则类似神经胶质细胞，扮演支持细胞的角色。细胞表面标记为S100蛋白。
