《我的章魚老師》（英語：My Octopus Teacher）是2020年Netflix原創紀錄片，由皮帕·埃利希和詹姆斯·里德執導，講述了電影工作者克雷格·福斯特（英語：Craig Foster (filmmaker)）於南非一處海藻林跟拍野生普通章魚的故事。影片榮獲第93屆奧斯卡金像獎最佳紀錄片獎。

梗概[編輯]

2010年，克雷格·福斯特（英語：Craig Foster (filmmaker)）開始在南非開普敦福爾斯灣一偏僻地區的海藻林練習自由潛水[2][3]。當地靠近開普半島的西蒙鎮（英語：Simon's Town）[4]，寒冷的大西洋本格拉寒流流經此地[5]。

潛水的時候，福斯特注意到一隻好奇的小章魚，開始長達一年的日常跟拍，得以探尋章魚休養生息的地方。他表示，自己和小章魚的這段經歷深刻影響到他的人生。小章魚與福斯特的感情日漸增長，同時要抵擋帶紋長鬚貓鯊（英語：pyjama shark）的襲擊。儘管處處提防，小章魚還是在一次攻擊中失去了觸手，要撤回到巢穴中恢復，幸好新觸手花了三個月重新長出來了。之後面對鯊魚攻擊，小章魚可以靈活應對，巧妙地吸附在鯊魚的背部。後來，小章魚和一隻大章魚交配，產出大量卵子。最終小章魚在照看卵的時候自然凋亡，鯊魚叼走了她的屍體。

小章魚給福斯特這段老師般的關係，讓他認識到生活的脆弱及人與自然的關係[6]。之後兒子跟隨他當自由潛水者，在大學學習海洋生物學，父子關係更為深厚。

製作[編輯]

影片由海洋改變計劃（Sea Change Project）、Off The Fence和德國電視二台合拍，皮帕·埃利希和詹姆斯·里德擔任執行製片人，水下攝影師羅傑·霍羅克斯（Roger Horrocks）執導，內容出自克雷格·福斯特和羅傑·霍羅克斯拍攝的畫面[7][8][9]。部分水下鏡頭在片中被刪減，但被紀錄片《藍色星球2》第5集收錄[10]。

福斯特通過參與海洋改變計劃成為製片人[11]，從事環境報導的印度妻子斯瓦蒂·蒂亞加拉詹（英語：Swati Thiyagarajan）擔任影片經紀人[12]。

影片於2010年開始拍攝，歷時10年，是Netflix首部南非原創紀錄片[13]。
