艾倫·麥克法蘭（英語：Alan Donald James Macfarlane, 1941年12月20日—）是一位英國人類學家和歷史學家。[1]皇家歷史學會、人類學會會士。

生平[編輯]

1941年出生於英屬印度的一個英國茶種植園的家庭，畢業於龍學校，1963年畢業於牛津大學伍斯特學院，1967年憑藉論文'Witchcraft prosecutions in Essex, 1560–1680: A Sociological Analysis （頁面存檔備份，存於網際網路檔案館）'獲得哲學博士，1968年憑藉論文'The regulation of marital and sexual relationships in 17th century England'獲得倫敦政治經濟學院人類學碩士學位，1972年憑藉論文'Population and resources in central Nepal'獲得倫敦大學亞非學院博士學位。[2]之後任職於劍橋大學國王學院，1991年升任為正教授，2009年成為終身榮譽教授。[3]
