OVH，全名OVH Groupe SAS，法國雲端運算公司，提供有VPS、專有伺服器及其他Web服務。OVH擁有一個全球面積最大的資料中心。[5]它是歐洲最大的網際網路代管服務提供商[6] [7]，也是全球第三大基於物理伺服器的代管服務提供商。[8]該公司由Klaba家族於1999年成立[1]，總部位於法國魯貝。[9]OVH是按法國法律（英語：Law of France）成立的簡化股份制公司（英語：société par actions simplifiée）。

Octave Klaba於1999年11月[1]在三個家庭成員（Henry，Haline和Miroslaw）的幫助下成立。

2016年10月，OVH據報籌集了2.5億美元以進一步擴大國際業務。[10]該輪融資使OVH的估值超10億美元。據報導，OVH在2016財年的收入為3.2億歐元。 OVH於2018年宣布自2021年開始將投資增加三倍的五年計劃。[11]

2017年6月，OVH 通過債務融資再次募集了4億歐元資金，本輪由 JP Morgan Chase 領投，CIC Nord Ouest和Banque Commerciale du Marché Nord Europe跟投。[12]

事件[編輯]

2021年3月，OVH在法國斯特拉斯堡的資料中心燃起大火。[21]SBG2機房被宣布完全被毀，早期報告表示SBG1也受到損害，斯特拉斯堡內四個區域的服務均因此中斷，據估計這可能使全球上百萬網站受到了影響。[22]OVH公司執行長Octave Klaba在Twitter上確認SBG1部分受損，SBG3和SBG4未受損害，但後兩者區域的伺服器也暫時處於離線狀態，有待恢復電力供應和連接。沒有人員傷亡的報告。[23][24][25]

維基解密[編輯]

2010年12月，法國《Gizmodo》網誌披露，維基解密在亞馬遜公司拒絕代管後選擇OVH作為新的代管服務提供商。[26] [27] [28]12月3日，不斷增長的爭議促使法國工業部長埃里克·貝森（英語：Eric Besson）（Eric Besson）詢問在法國禁止此類代管的法律舉措，未獲成功。2010年12月6日，一位法官裁定OVH無需停止代管維基解密。[29]該案以需要進行對抗性聽證的理由被駁回。[30]

資訊洩露和漏洞[編輯]

2019年1月，《WebsitePlanet》雜誌披露了一些全球大型代管公司客戶端中的漏洞，包括Bluehost、DreamHost、HostGator（英語：HostGator）、iPage（英語：iPage）和OVH。[31]

環境影響[編輯]

OVH於2003年開始在其資料中心整合創新型液冷。[32]

OVH在很大程度上依賴核電，尤其是其Gravelines資料中心以緊靠Gravelines核電站（英語：Gravelines Nuclear Power Station）聞名。[33] [34]

2021年1月，OVH與其他行業參與者加入了氣候中和資料中心條約（英語：Climate Neutral Data Centre Pact），該條約承諾在2030年之前實現資料中心的氣候中和。
