WASP-121是一個視星等為 10.4 的恆星，位於船尾座。[1] WASP-121 的質量和半徑都類似太陽。 它的行星WASP-121b環繞著 WASP-121 ，每 1.27 天轉一圈。[3] WASP-121b是第一個被發現在平流層包含水的系外行星。[6][7]
行星系統[編輯]
2015年，通過系外行星偵測法#凌日法發現了系外行星WASP-121b，它的軌道環繞WASP-121。[3] WASP-121b 是一個熱木星，也是一個系外行星 。它的質量是木星的 1.18 倍，而半徑是木星的 1.81 倍。[4][6] 這個行星每 1.27天環繞 WASP-121一圈。[4][6] 人們在WASP-121b的平流層中發現了高溫的水分子。[3][6][7][8]
