长岛级护航航空母舰

长岛级护航航空母舰（英文：Long Island-class escort carrier），是第二次世界大战期间美国海军改装的护航航空母舰之一，最初被列为“AVG”（飞机护航舰），改建自C3级商船。

长岛级首舰长岛号（英语：USS Long Island (CVE-1)）最初的舷号是AVG-1，后改为ACV-1，最后定为CVE-1。1940年1月11日下水。

第二艘射手号（英语：HMS Archer (D78)）于1939年12月14日下水，第二次世界大战期间在英国皇家海军服役。美国海军记录中舷号为BAVG-1；據推論“B”應是代表“英国”之意。^[2]^[3]^[4]^[5]
