1919年美國職棒大聯盟球季是美國聯盟和國家聯盟共同存在後的第19個賽季。該年的世界大賽，由辛辛那提紅人打敗芝加哥白襪拿下冠軍。但是該年也爆發了黑襪醜聞，8名白襪球員涉及打假球事件遭到終身禁賽。此事件也促使大聯盟催生大聯盟主席一職。

  • 4月19日，當時的準紐約市長Jimmy Walker宣布紐約的棒球球隊可在週日進行比賽，紐約巨人成為第一支在週日比賽的紐約棒球球隊。[1]
  • 5月11日，紅人隊的Hod Eller面對紅雀隊投出無安打比賽。[2]同日，參議員的華特·強森面對洋基隊投了12局，連續解決洋基隊28名打者，最終兩隊0比0握手言和。[3]
  • 9月10日，印地安人隊的Ray Caldwell面對洋基隊投出無安打比賽，幾天前他才被閃電擊中。[7]
  • 9月21日，小熊隊只花了58分鐘就以3比0擊敗勇士。[8]同一天，羅賓隊也僅花了55分鐘就以3比1打敗紅人。[9]
