Alvvays（发音为"Always"）是一支成立于2011年的加拿大独立流行音乐乐队，出道地点为爱德华王子岛的夏洛特敦，现时乐队总部在安大略省多伦多市。乐队由 Molly Rankin担任主唱和吉他手，Kerri MacLellan担任键盘手，Alec O'Hanley担任吉他手，Brian Murphy担任低音吉他手和Sheridan Riley担任鼓手。他们在2014年首张发行的同名专辑在美国大学排行榜上名列前茅。[2]其后，他们第二张录音室专辑Antisocialites于2017年9月8日发行，并赢得朱诺奖年度另类专辑。此外，这两张专辑都入围北极星音乐奖。

成立及早期（2011年–2015年）[编辑]
主音Molly Rankin在新斯科舍长大，自小与她的邻居，键盘手Kerri MacLellan一起创作音乐。她在年幼时，在参与一场音乐会上遇到了吉他手Alec O'Hanley。在O'Hanley的帮助下，乐队于2011年于多伦多成立。Rankin集合MacLellan，O'Hanley，鼓手Phil MacIsaac和低音吉他手Brian Murphy组成乐队。Rankin选择Alvvays作为乐队名字，是因为她喜欢Alvvays有一丝“情感和怀旧”[4] 。

自2015年开始，Alvvays一直在创作和录制第二张专辑[9]。2014年到2015年期间，他们推出几首原创歌曲，名为"Your Type"和"New Haircut"。到2016年则推出"Not My Baby", 和"Dreams"[10]。Alvvays于2017年9月8日发行他们的第二张专辑“ Antisocialites ”[11] 。2017年秋季宣布将到北美和欧洲巡回演出，鼓手Sheridan Riley加入乐队参加此次巡演[12]。2017年春季第二次英国巡回演出于2017年9月宣布。
在2019年9月16日在比利时安特卫普的一场表演中, 一名男性观众跳上舞台，并试图亲吻主音Molly Rankin。及后，表演场地总监Ken Veerman于Facebook道歉。
到2018年，其歌曲 "Dreams Tonite",[13]获加拿大作曲家、作家和音乐出版社协会(SOCAN)提名歌曲创作奖。Antisocialites入围2018年的Polaris音乐奖[14]，并获得了年度另类专辑的Juno奖[15]。
音乐风格[编辑]
传媒与乐评人形容Alvvays的音乐风格为电音音乐。根据Rankin的说法，乐队主要集中在强烈的旋律上，而不是特定的风格。乐队曲风受到The Magnetic Fields， Teenage Fanclub, Smiths, Celine Dion, Pavement, the Primitives和Oasis所影响。另外，Rankin表示她从小就沉浸在凯尔特音乐的氛围下，对她唱歌和作曲的方式有着明显影响。
