2-乙基己酸鋅是一種鋅的羧酸鹽,它可由氧化鋅和2-乙基己酸反應得到。[1]它可作為氧化鋅[2]、原硅酸鋅[3]、鋯酸鋅[4]等鋅化合物的前體。它可以催化異丙苯的氧化[5]過氧化氫異丙苯英語Cumene hydroperoxide的分解反應[6]
