環紋赤蛇（學名：Sinomicrurus macclellandi）又名環紋赤蛇，是一種有毒的蛇類，為蝙蝠蛇科帶紋赤蛇屬的爬行動物，俗名中華珊瑚蛇。分佈於印度、尼泊爾、緬甸、錫金、老撾、越南、台灣以及中國的江蘇、浙江、安徽、福建、江西、湖南、海南、廣東、廣西、四川、重慶、貴州、雲南、西藏、甘肅等地，一般生活於山區森林或平地丘陵。其生存的海拔範圍為215至2483米。該物種的模式產地在印度阿薩姆。[1]
描述[編輯]
環紋赤蛇是一種小型蛇類，若包含蛇尾，其體長約 40—80厘米（16—31英寸），體型細長。 背面紅褐色，有細黑色橫條，腹部呈乳白色。頭部小而圓，黑色，帶有寬闊的乳白色橫帶，頭部中間有黑色輪廓。 蛇身背鱗光滑，在身體中處，呈13行平行縱排。
亞種[編輯]
環紋赤蛇有以下四個亞種：[2]
- 環紋赤蛇指名亞種（學名：Sinomicrurus macclellandi macclellandi），REINHARDT於1844年命名。
- （學名：Sinomicrurus macclellandi iwasakii），MAKI於1935年命名。分佈於日本石垣島和琉球群島。
- 環紋赤蛇台灣亞種（學名：Sinomicrurus macclellandi swinhoei），VAN DENBURGH 於1912年命名，分佈於台灣。
- （學名：Sinomicrurus macclellandi univirgatus），GÜNTHER於1858年命名。分佈於尼泊爾和錫金。
