電腦輔助翻譯軟件和網站適用於各種平台和訪問類型。帝國理工學院2006年對來自54個國家和地區的874名翻譯專業人士進行的一項調查顯示，主要的幾種CAT工具的使用情況如下：Trados（35%）、 Wordfast（17%）、Déjà Vu（16%）、 SDL Trados 2006（15%）、SDLX（4%）、STAR Transit（3%）、OmegaT（3%）、其他（7%）。 [1]
