〈20th Century Boy〉是英国摇滚乐团暴龙乐团的歌曲，由马克·波伦所写，它于1973年作为单曲发行并在英国单曲排行榜上位居第三名。[4]此曲并没有收录在乐团任何一张录音室专辑中，但却被特别收录于1973年专辑《Tanx（英语：Tanx）》的再发版中。

波伦逝世14年后，〈20th Century Boy〉被用在1991年由布莱德·彼特主演的Levi's广告上，让此曲在当年以第十三名的成绩回归英国前二十大排行榜之列。[5]

〈20th Century Boy〉最先是于1972年12月3日在日本东京的东芝录音室（Toshiba Recording Studios）录制，该录制行程从下午三点录到凌晨一点半。[6][7]但背景和声、拍手声、原声吉他和萨克斯风的部分是乐团结束巡演回到英国后才录的。[6]

此曲的单曲版在三分三十九秒处淡出，然而其多轨母带揭示了它本来是以将近三分钟的即兴演奏作结。[6][7]这个完整的粗略混音版收录于马克·波伦个人的合辑专辑《Bump 'n' Grind》中。[7]

根据波伦本人的解释，〈20th Century Boy〉的歌词是引用如穆罕默德·阿里等名人的名言而成的。像歌词中的“sting like a bee”便是取自阿里1969年的演讲内容。[8]

另外因为波伦本人唱法的缘故，歌曲一开始的歌词“Friends say it's fine, friends say it's good/Everybody says it's just like Robin Hood.”的后一句经常被错听成“Everybody says it's just like rock 'n' roll.”。[6]

〈Free Angel〉[编辑]
