大衛·馬斯蘭卡（David Maslanka，1943年8月30日—2017年8月7日）是美國當代作曲家，他的作品涵蓋了不同的範疇，包括有為管樂團、合唱團、室樂、管絃樂團等的作品，當中又以為管樂團的作品數目最多，他共創作了十首交響曲（第10號為未完成遺作，由其兒子馬太所補遺）、其中八首皆為管樂團而創作；他亦創作了一套完整的彌撒曲、三首鋼琴協奏曲、及超過十首為其他樂器所創作的協奏曲，全部皆由管樂團作伴奏；亦完成了四首管樂五重奏及五首薩克管四重奏。

他的作品採用十分明顯的調性和旋律作主導，配以緊湊而複雜的節奏。他尤對巴赫的《371首聖詠曲》甚有研究，不少作品都滲入了《371首聖詠曲》的旋律在內，2005年他更將其中117首聖詠曲重新編寫和聲，並出版了《Collected Chorale Settings》，此曲集可由獨奏鍵盤樂器、或其他任何的樂器組合所演奏皆可。

除了在美國國內演出外，他的作品近年亦開始於世界各地作公演，而不少業餘樂團、學校樂團亦喜愛演奏他的作品。

生平

馬蘭斯卡1943年出生於美國麻薩諸塞州的新貝德福德，先後畢業於歐柏林學院（1961-1965）、密歇根州立大學 (1965-1971)，並取得了哲學博士學位。於歐柏林學院修讀本科時，師隨佐治·懷恩（George Waln）學習單簧管、約瑟·活特（Joseph Wood）學習作曲，並且曾於奥地利的薩爾茨堡莫扎特音樂大學作過一年交換生。後來於密歇根州立大學攻讀碩士及博士時，均師隨赫爾伯特·奧雲·列特作曲。學成後，馬蘭斯卡於紐約市立大學國王社區學院、紐約市立大學、莎拉·勞倫斯學院以及紐約大學等學府任教。1981年迎娶了愛麗遜，並育有三名兒女，後來舉家由紐約遷往蒙大拿州的米蘇拉生活。馬蘭斯卡自1990年起便以創作委約作品為主。

2017年8月7日因大腸癌而逝世。
