大卫·马斯兰卡（David Maslanka，1943年8月30日—2017年8月7日）是美国当代作曲家，他的作品涵盖了不同的范畴，包括有为管乐团、合唱团、室乐、管弦乐团等的作品，当中又以为管乐团的作品数目最多，他共创作了十首交响曲（第10号为未完成遗作，由其儿子马太所补遗）、其中八首皆为管乐团而创作；他亦创作了一套完整的弥撒曲、三首钢琴协奏曲、及超过十首为其他乐器所创作的协奏曲，全部皆由管乐团作伴奏；亦完成了四首管乐五重奏及五首萨克管四重奏。

他的作品采用十分明显的调性和旋律作主导，配以紧凑而复杂的节奏。他尤对巴赫的《371首圣咏曲》甚有研究，不少作品都渗入了《371首圣咏曲》的旋律在内，2005年他更将其中117首圣咏曲重新编写和声，并出版了《Collected Chorale Settings》[1]，此曲集可由独奏键盘乐器、或其他任何的乐器组合所演奏皆可。

除了在美国国内演出外，他的作品近年亦开始于世界各地作公演，而不少业余乐团、学校乐团亦喜爱演奏他的作品。

生平[编辑]

马兰斯卡1943年出生于美国马萨诸塞州的新贝德福德，先后毕业于欧柏林学院（1961-1965）、密歇根州立大学 (1965-1971)，并取得了哲学博士学位[2]。于欧柏林学院修读本科时，师随佐治·怀恩（George Waln）学习单簧管、约瑟·活特（Joseph Wood）学习作曲，并且曾于奥地利的萨尔茨堡莫扎特音乐大学作过一年交换生。后来于密歇根州立大学攻读硕士及博士时，均师随赫尔伯特·奥云·列特（英语：H. Owen Reed）作曲[3]。学成后，马兰斯卡于纽约市立大学国王社区学院（英语：Kingsborough Community College）、纽约市立大学、莎拉·劳伦斯学院以及纽约大学等学府任教。1981年迎娶了爱丽逊，并育有三名儿女，后来举家由纽约迁往蒙大拿州的米苏拉生活。马兰斯卡自1990年起便以创作委约作品为主。

2017年8月7日因大肠癌而逝世[4]。
